*PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!* No need to worry about checkout tasks - please just make sure all fireplaces are off and doors and windows are closed. Please add any pet(s) staying at the property to your reservation, so cleaners can prep accordingly for check-out. This cabin operates on a private well system. While there is typically plenty of water for normal use, please be mindful of usage. Simple steps like spacing out showers and running appliances at different times help maintain comfortable water pressure and conserve resources. Regular pest control maintenance is performed but as this is a mountain home, pests like ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects do find their way indoors, especially with the opening and closing of doors and windows. This is very common in the fall for the area as they seek shelter from the cold. They are harmless and do not bite or sting. This is a true mountain getaway, and part of the experience includes the road up to the cabin! The short drive does have some steep, winding sections. As it was paved over a decade ago, there is some wear. Please drive slowly and with caution. While the drive can be intimidating for those unfamiliar with mountain roads, a variety of vehicles including coupes, sedans, minivans, and SUVs (not all of them AWD) have successfully navigated the road. AWD is recommended during icy conditions and snow. Linens, décor, furnishing, and other household items may vary from the photos, as things naturally wear out and are replaced over time.

This is a smoke-free home, including the outside area surrounding property. No smoking of any substance, including vaping, is permitted. We will charge an additional $500 cleaning fee to deodorize the cabin. Black bears are common in this area, please follow bear safety at BearWise. org. Please do not feed or approach the bears if you happen to encounter one around the property. Early check-in and late checkout could be accommodated based on calendar availability but must be arranged in advance as the cleaning team has a very tight schedule. Any changes within 24 hours, including guests still at the property past checkout, incur a surcharge equivalent to the standard cleaning fee.

There are several grocery stores within a 10 min drive (including Kroger and Publix), as well as plenty of coffee spots, restaurants, and shops.

Guest Access

Conveniently check-in with a personalized door code - no need to fumble for keys. Guests will have exclusive access to the entire home, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchen, and outdoor spaces. There are no shared area, and privacy is guaranteed throughout the stay. The garage located next to the cabin is used as storage only and not accessible to guests.

We had an amazing New Year’s stay at this cabin. It was spotless, cozy, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. The location was peaceful and scenic, yet convenient, and the cabin itself had everything we needed—from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and great common spaces to enjoy together. Ringing in the New Year here was special and memorable. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. We would absolutely rent this cabin again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect escape.
